Exmoor & Quantock Local Food Ltd, trading as Source,
has been established to provide the distribution link between
local producers and potential trade and home
customers. Operating as a co-operative, the office
and warehouse are at Tower Farm, Lydeard St Lawrence, and
all the producers are based across the Exmoor and Quantock area.
Source works with a wide range of local producers who can
supply a variety of goods including award winning ice cream,
organic desserts, farmed and wild venison, organic and
naturally grown fruit and vegetables, traditionally made
cheddar, rare breed pork, traditionally reared lamb and beef,
poultry, award winning ducks, Exmoor spring water, organic
dairy products, chocolates, cakes and pies, preserves,
crayfish, game…and much more besides

Every Friday Morning there is a popular farmers market in
Minehead. A whole variety of locally produced food can be bought
direct from the producers, not to be missed!

Visit the Torre Cider Farm where along with
locally made cider and apple juice there is a shop brimming with local
produced food including cheeses, cream, honey, wines jams,
jellies, pickles and mustards.

New for 2007 Binham Grange, Old
Cleeve
Binham Grange is a Jacobean house set in 300
acres of parkland and gardens. Lovingly restored by Marie and
Stewart Thomas, enjoy coffee, lunch or afternoon tea sitting
on the terrace. Dinner is served in the wonderful dining room.

Just 2 miles from Primrose Hill it is a must
for a visit.....food fit for kings in wonderful
surroundings.
At Home Farm Blue Anchor Bay
you can enjoy farmhouse cream teas and home made
cakes, lunches and morning coffee either in the tea rooms or
sitting in the peaceful gardens. Children will enjoy seeing
the pigs, ducks and chickens.

The famous Home Farm sausages are available from the
tea rooms as well as eggs, cheese, milk, apple juice, home
made pies and cakes, honey, chutney and jams.

Exmoor
Food Festival 29 September to 7th October 2007
Food, glorious food, is the
focus of events across Exmoor National Park each autumn.
There is so much good food and drink produced in this
beautiful part of the world and the festival is the ideal way
to celebrate it. There is such a wide range
of events as well from food fairs to Exmoor banquets, and
from a farm walk to the chance to have a go at making Indian
breads and dishes made with the best local ingredients.
You can take part in a horse-ride across the moor or
indulge in the art of chocolate making and the
chocolate fondue or visit a local brewery to see how they make
