September has almost been and gone! The year seems to have just flown by and what a glorious sunny warm month it has been!
I do hope you have all manged to see family and friends, what a strange 18 months it has been for all of us!
The summer has been wonderfully busy and we have been fully booked since the beginning of May. Bookings are now coming in for 2022. The tariff is on the website and remember returning guests pay this years advertised tariff. I will add the discount once a booking has been made.
After two seasons of jumping through "Covid Hoops" we all hope that next year we will be on the up.
So, our booking/cancellation policy for 2022 will reflect normality with a deposit of £100.00 per week and the balance payable 8 weeks before arrival.
Of course we will continue to be as accommodating as possible about unforeseen cancellations. As always we strongly advise taking out holiday insurance.
For those of you who have not already enjoyed a break at Primrose Hill ( or are ready for another) we do still have availability in October including half term week.
The West Somerset Railway are running Christmas specials again this year. If you are planning to book on the Santa Special or the new Winter Lights Train 3 night breaks are available. Ring Jo for more information.
On a personal note we had flights booked to see our family in New Zealand in December, but as NZ is keeping its borders closed until well into 2022 we will be at home and able to offer Christmas and New Year availability. I have posted the 7 nights tariff but can be flexible on arrival days with a minimum 4 night stay. Again please ring me if you are interested.
I have updated our Digital Welcome file . Have a look !
Come share our little bit of paradise !
It's June !!! How did that happen??
Primrose Hill is almost fully booked until mid October but we have Elm Bungalow available on August 28th and September 18th for a 6 night break.
Arriving on the Saturday and packing up to go home on the Friday would mean missing the at times crazy weekend traffic , sounds like a good idea?? either book on line or just give Jo a call.
From Monday May 17 it is business as usual at Primrose Hill.
We welcomed our first guests of the year on April 12 and from May 17 more than one household can come on holiday together and the games room is opening again after more than a year off limits.....exciting times!!
Local pubs, cafes and restaurants can welcome customers inside, many attractions will open their doors again as we all cautiously embrace the new normal!
We have though had more than a fair share of cancellations many of them last minute. Nobody of course cancels a holiday without good reason but this does put us in a very difficult situation. We always do our very best to re book cancelled weeks and 8 weeks have been re booked but this is not always possible. Once again we urge guests to take out holiday insurance!
If we do not mange to re book a cancelled holiday then the full amount will still be payable.
We all love a bargain so have a look at our cancellation dates. There is £100.00 off the advertised tariff and dogs get a free holiday. If you are interested in any of these dates then just ring Jo and we can get you booked in !
June 5 Beech Bungalow
July 3 Beech Bungalow
We also still have limited availability in all our bungalows in September and October including half term!
Our Digital Welcome File has a huge amount of useful information. I update this as often as I can but as always I am happy to chat with anyone who has any questions.
All the accommodation is prepared to strict Covid confident guidelines and cleaning protocols. We now have a fogging machine, making sanitising the accommodation on changeover day so much easier.
The warm weather seems slow to arrive this year but a change of scene is on everyone's wish list and where better than Primrose Hill. .Exmoor and the Quantock Hills are full of colour and there is plenty of space to blow away the covid cobwebs, smooth ruffled feathers and recharge batteries .
Come share our little bit of paradise !
